La OIT en Latinoamérica: laboratorio para una regulación internacional y ordenada de las migraciones (1936-1966)

This article analyses the treatment that International Labour Organization (ILO) gave to international migration in Latin America—between 1930 and 1960—at American Labor Conferences. Based on a qualitative methodology, documentary corpus consisting of memories, statements, reports produced context conferences held by organization was constructed analyzed. document aims contribute scarce existing academic production about migrations received during period question organizations. It also shows how possibility regulating at regional level established ILO agenda. The concludes this agenda, marked utilitarian thinking schemes migration, is laboratory for incipient promotion measures aimed denationalization policies.
